With over 40 years’ experience within the Tools Industry and a background in accountancy, John has headed up the business since 2001. Leading it through fundamental changes from its roots in the US, to a fully independent UK operation. John was instrumental in the formation of the UK management structure and bringing about the new dawn which has since seen the business flourish to the strong position it stands in today.
John places a great deal of value on the people within the organisation and is very proud to have developed a strong and dedicated team who he believes is key to the strength of the business. The pace of which the business continues to grow is testimony to the commitment throughout the organisation.
With a career of over 40 years in the DIY and Tool Industry, John’s knowledge of the sector has seen him play a key role in new product development, an area which he both enjoys and excels in, helping to bring a plethora of new products to market.
Working with major retailers in DIY, Grocery, Department Stores and Mail Order companies, he has developed many long-standing connections and has been responsible for establishing trading relationships with all the major customers, including most key independents, that OLYMPIA TOOLS UK continues to support today.
Our Reading Head Office is home to our customer support and purchasing teams. As Business Support Manager, Millie oversees two very capable teams who are fundamental to our operations.

With 25 years invested into the tools category and experience in launching and managing a number of premium brands through the trade channel, Joe is able to provide valuable insight into the market with regard to the specification and quality we expect for our ROUGHNECK® and ROUGHNECK GORILLA® brands. Joe leads our product development programme, from ideation and specification to sourcing, ensuring our products provide the best possible performance while ensuring value for money.
Joe also manages our responsible sourcing programme, working with our suppliers to ensure we meet all legal and ethical requirements through regular audits and continual improvement to ensure our products remain consistent, compliant and have a robust supply chain.
Mike, with support from Chris, is responsible for maximising sales within the UK trade and independent merchant channel and for the strategic development of new customer accounts. Mike has a strong focus on supporting the sales management teams of our key trading partners to achieve mutual sales goals, whilst improving working relationships and communication.
An experienced sales manager and man-manager with 35+ years’ experience in the DIY, bathroom and building sectors, Mike joined OLYMPIA TOOLS UK in early 2020, bringing with him multi-channel and category experience gained through a variety of business models. He works closely with our Marketing Team to maximise exposure for OLYMPIA TOOLS UK's brands, to develop promotional campaigns, to co-ordinate brand building activities and to successfully launch new products. Jointly they have grown brand awareness and sales levels through our customer base to new highs.
Based in our state-of-the-art distribution centre located in the West Midlands, Stacey leads a proficient team with a combined total of over 35 years of experience within the Dormole Group.
Their expertise in warehousing, stock control and QC processes, ensures speedy, accurate and efficient operations, together with the smooth turnaround of all orders. Strongly customer service focused, they ensure each delivery meets bespoke customer requirements including pallet presentation, paperwork and booking in procedures. The team work closely with both local and international delivery companies to guarantee service levels are maintained at the same high standards, no matter wherever they are based.

A long standing and valued member of the team, Kim joined OLYMPIA TOOLS UK over 20 years ago and continues to enjoy working alongside the team in our Reading Head Office. Responsible for accounts payable; ensuring the timely processing of invoices, VAT returns and preparation of the monthly accounts, Kim carries out her role with both accuracy and efficiency.
